Quick Answer
The Fujifilm X100VI Black is a compact digital camera that builds on the X100 series legacy with a new sensor, faster processor, and in-body image stabilization (IBIS).
What makes the X100VI different from its predecessor?
The X100VI is the first X100 series camera to include In-Body Image Stabilisation (IBIS), a feature that helps reduce camera shake in low light. It also uses Fujifilm's latest sensor and processor, which can improve overall image quality and responsiveness.
Is the X100VI Black suitable for beginners?
Yes, its intuitive operability and compact design make it approachable for beginners, while advanced users will appreciate the improved stabilization and image processing. That said, the fixed lens (no zoom) may not suit everyone's shooting style.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Does the X100VI Black have a zoom lens?
- No, the X100VI features a fixed lens, similar to previous X100 models. If you need zoom flexibility, consider an interchangeable-lens camera like the Fujifilm X-T5.
- What type of memory card does it use?
- The X100VI accepts SD, SDHC, and SDXC memory cards (UHS-I compatible). It does not support CFexpress or XQD cards.
- Can I use the X100VI for video?
- Yes, the X100VI can record video, but it is primarily designed for still photography. Check the user manual for specific video resolution and frame rate options. If video is your main focus, consider a dedicated video camera or a hybrid model like the Fujifilm X-H2S.
