FUJINON GF 250mm F4 R LM OIS WR

That smooth OIS really lets me nail focus on distant birds even in dim evening light, and the bokeh separation from f/4 is gorgeous. The resolving power caught every feather detail I could ask for.

I was worried about handholding a lens this size, but the optical stabilization really locks onto distant subjects, and that f4 bokeh isolates them beautifully from the background.

The OIS on this 250mm is shockingly effective—I was able to shoot handheld at 1/15th of a second and still get tack-sharp shots. The bokeh is buttery smooth, making distant subjects pop beautifully against complex backgrounds. It's a heavy beast but worth every gram for the detail it resolves.
