Handheld shooting in dim light used to be a gamble, but this lens locks onto eyes instantly even at f/1.4. The aperture ring clicks with just the right amount of resistance. Crisp from corner to corner wide open, it’s exactly what I needed for street photography.

The autofocus on this lens is practically silent, which made street shooting feel almost stealthy. The build quality is solid too, with a nice damped feel to the focus ring. I’m genuinely impressed by how quickly it locks onto subjects even in dim light.
